West End law firm, Lawrence Stephens, are one in a succession
of recent IRIS Law Business clients who have converted from their
incumbent forms systems to IRIS Laserform electronic legal
forms.
Lawrence Stephens is a 22 fee earner practice which provides
expert legal advice to banks, quoted public companies, private
limited companies, investors, entrepreneurs and individuals.
Trevor Coward, Practice Manager, outlines the reasons for signing
up to IRIS Laserform.
Trevor explains,
“We have been Mountain clients for many years now, and became
interested in the Laserform system following the Mountain
acquisition by IRIS Group. Mike Boynes from IRIS gave us a
webcast of Laserform LFM9 earlier this year and we were completely
blown away by the efficiency and risk management features within
the system, especially context sensitive help, which will save us
no end of time locating help files.
LFM9 is significantly more sophisticated than our old
system. Not only do they have the unique context sensitive
help facility; they have a text editing feature for utilising Word
functionality within the forms themselves. We’ve never been
able to do this before. We’ve also decided to opt for the
SDLT e-Submissions module, which enables us to make electronic
submissions of SDLTs from LFM9 direct to the HMRC Government
Gateway.
Now that both our suppliers are one company, IRIS Legal, we have
just the one port of call for any queries regarding our IRIS Law
Business and Laserform software. Integration between the
products is much smoother and we have the added comfort of being
supplied by a financially secure company dedicated to product
development and client satisfaction. We look forward to many
more years as an IRIS client.”
Mike Boynes, IRIS Laserform Sales Manager, adds,
“IRIS Legal is far superior to alternative forms suppliers
because of the multiplicity of efficiency features built into the
Laserform system. Many practices are now purchasing the SDLT
e-Submissions module alongside LFM9 for instant validation and
submission of SDLT returns.
We have invested significant resources to product development
and continue to do so. We are confident that all IRIS
Laserform users will benefit from current and planned improvements
to our systems and am delighted to welcome Lawrence Stephens on
board.”
