The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) has
selected the CARE software package from IRIS NFP Solutions
(formerly CS Group) for an organisation-wide Customer Relationship
Management (CRM), Fundraising & Membership Management
solution.
CARE has been selected as NCVO seeks to
achieve a targeted and coordinated approach to its communications.
With CARE’s sophisticated tools for segmenting, profiling and
analysis, NCVO will be able to better understand its members and
other stakeholders’ needs, making the organisation more responsive
and engaging. The improved quality of management information and
streamlined business processes means that NCVO will be better
equipped to offer more and better services to its membership.
The key reasons why NCVO selected CARE were
its ability to provide an extremely broad functionality
specifically tailored to voluntary organisations and its proven
track record in the UK voluntary and community sector. More
importantly, CARE was chosen because of the flexibility of its
integration capabilities and implementation approach. CARE will
first be deployed as a CRM solution integrating with NCVO’s
existing membership, finance, events and fundraising databases and
providing a central reporting and marketing layer above all of
those other applications. The second phase of the project will see
all of NCVO’s existing applications replaced by their CARE
counterparts.
Richard Williams, Director of Enterprise at
NCVO, said: “The chosen project approach, which is possible
because of the high level of integration CARE can offer, allows us
to reap the early benefits of centralised data management and
reporting whilst still using our existing systems. Providing us
with a cost-effective and flexible way to gradually replace all our
databases with an integrated software solution, CARE will deliver
us a single view of all our processes and enable us to truly work
as a more coherent organisation.”
Carrie Goodbourn, CARE Managing Director at
IRIS commented: “We are excited to be working with NCVO in this
project. The chosen approach will allow us to demonstrate the
flexibility and integratability of the CARE system as well as the
fact that CARE is the solution of choice for any voluntary
organisation looking to improve its efficiency. Delivering
significant business benefits by bringing processes in line and
helping to unleash the organisation’s full capacity, CARE will
enable NCVO to drive increased value from its data.”
The CARE team will be working closely with
NCVO in the coming months to integrate the CARE CRM layer with the
NCVO’s legacy systems and to implement a suite of CARE software in
the next phase.
