The Integra software package from IRIS NFP Solutions (formerly
CS Group) has been selected by the Federation of Master Builders
(FMB) for an organisation-wide CRM & Membership Management
solution. Delivering comprehensive tools to improve
efficiency in all the key business areas and to drive more services
online, Integra will enable the FMB to move forward as a coherent
organisation.
The Federation of Master Builders was established over 60 years
ago to protect the interests of small and medium-sized building
firms in the UK. With more than 13,000 members committed to its
code of practise, the FMB is the largest trade association in the
UK building industry today. As a source of knowledge, professional
advice and support for its members, the FMB provides a range of
modern and relevant business building services to save them time
and money. Furthermore, the Federation continuously lobbies for its
members’ interests at both national and local levels, promoting the
profession.
Investing in an integrated CRM & Membership Management
solution was part of the FMB’s IT Strategy Program which aims to
bring the organisation’s business processes in line, helping the
Federation to become more responsive to its members’ needs.
Grahame Barn, Project Director at the Federation of Master Builders
comments: “Our existing membership database has become outdated and
does not meet the requirements of a modern trade association.
Integra was our solution of choice, as it offers us the broadest
and most sophisticated functionality in the market.”
Integra’s prestigious client list including a number of leading
trade associations in the UK as well as its reputation as the web
integration expert convinced the FMB. With its advanced web
publishing toolkit which is fully integrated to the powerful back
office database, Integra will allow the Federation to upgrade its
online services to the benefit of both its members and the
organisation itself. The FMB members will enjoy greater access to
services via the web, whilst the Federation will be able to achieve
streamlined administration and increased member engagement.
“Integra will enable us to gather more knowledge across the
business and gain a better understanding of our members’
requirements, helping us to identify new marketing opportunities.
More importantly, we will be better equipped to develop strong
relationships with our members”, says Grahame Barn.
To support the key business areas the FMB will be implementing a
wide range of Integra back office modules in the first phase of the
project, including Membership, Finance, Events and Case. The
deployment of the fully integrated Web Publishing Tools will then
follow. The expected go live is in early spring 2008.
Simon Fowler, Managing Director of IRIS NFP Solutions comments:
“As an established product with a solid development path and
financial backing of one of the top ten software houses in the UK,
Integra will deliver the Federation of Master Builders a future
proof platform on which to build the organisation growth. With
Integra, the FMB can truly achieve a targeted approach to all its
communications and a single view on its business.”
Grahame Barn concludes: “We’ve been very impressed by IRIS’s
expertise and thorough understanding of our requirements as a trade
association, and we feel that Integra is the right product to drive
our business forward. Providing us with flexibility and stability,
Integra will help us to continue developing as a modern, proactive
membership organisation.”
